14 Days / 13 Nights In this journey, we will take you to the best places Costa Rica has to offer. You will be able to bathe in the hot natural spring waters of the Arenal volcano as lava flows down the mountainside. In Tortuguero, you may witness baby turtles being born. In Manuel Antonio, you'll spend three relaxing days where jungle meets the beach, and in Monteverde you'll see plant and animals you have never seen before. DAY 1
San Jose
Assistance at your arrival
to San Jose Airport by a CANATUR (Costa Rican Chamber of Tourism)
representative, and transfer to your hotel. There you will
receive a briefing on your tour and vouchers covering all the services
included.

DAY 2
San Jose
Today we take a half-day
city tour of San Jose. This tour immerses you in the rich Costa Rican
culture and history by experiencing the beautiful museums and historical
sites of San Jose.

DAY 3
San Jose / Sarchi / Poas Volcano
We begin our journey by
driving by the beautiful coffee fields of central Costa Rica on the way
to Sarchi. Once in there, we visit the fascinating craftsman
factories where they build the famous Oxcarts of Costa Rica. We then visit the Poas
Volcano National Park craters and cloud forest trails and Botos Lagoon.

DAY 4
San Jose / Tortuguero
Early departure to
Tortuguero. On the way, we will pass though the Braulio Carrillo
National Park, and visit a banana processing and packing plant.
Once we arrive in Tortuguero we board a comfortable boat to explore the
canals to admire the marvelous flora and fauna.
Later, we enjoy a refreshing cocktail and a delicious lunch as we are
welcomed to the lodge in Tortuguero. We then visit the museum,
beach area, and small town of Tortuguero. A delightful dinner will be
served upon our return to the lodge.

Next, we will visit the
Tabacon Hot Springs Resort where you can relax in the soothing hot
springs of the volcano. From here you we will be able to see one of the
most active volcanoes in the Americas. Once it gets dark, you may see
the night sky explode with ash and lava in a natural display of
fireworks (weather permitting). At a convenient time we will treat you
to a splendid dinner.

We take a half-day tour of
the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The canopy is extremely rich with
birds, insects, butterflies, and thousands of plant species. This is a
great opportunity for bird watching.

We take a tour of Manuel
Antonio National Park, which is the most popular park in Costa Rica. It
has beautiful white sandy beaches surrounded by emerald waters and thick
jungle. Our guides will help you get the most out of your visit, by
pointing out monkeys, sloth, iguanas, and a multitude of insects and
birds during this very informative three hour walk.
